Unfortuneatly, JMC Designs can no longer support Internet Explorer.

Web standards and technology are constantly evolving, providing users with more features, better technology and improved security.

Modern Browsers like Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Edge, are constantly evolving with it, constantly being updated and improved upon.

Internet Explorer only receives legacy security support and is no longer evolving and therefore, as JMC Designs evolves, we are unable to continue supporting Internet Explorer.

World Card Making Day

Happy World Card Making Day.

Sending cards I think is something all of us have done, mostly on special occasions, however what about at other times? World card making day reminds us that the best gifts come from the heart. Sending people we love a card says so much as they can touch it, feel it, they see it regularly while it is sitting on the mantelpiece, its there as a constant reminder that you care for them.

Unfortunately with the advancement of modern technology this art of sending cards is dying out, with people opting for a quick text or e-mail, and there is nothing wrong with that, however ask yourself how do you feel when you have been sent a physical card? Feels good doesn’t it, so why not pass that feeling on by sending cards to others.

Have you thought about making your own cards?

The only limit to making cards is your own imagination, so let your creativity fly and enjoy sending out personalised cards to your friends and family.

Sounds good, but not sure where to start – no worries lets break it down:

What Supplies do you need to make cards?

The amount of card making supplies out there can maybe make us feel a little overwhelmed as to where to start. Surprisingly we need very little. Some blank cards, some glue, a few images (whether these be from a card making kit, or images you have just cut out of a magazine)

You have your supplies but you need a bit of inspiration

Then why not check out this video on how I make lots of cards using just The Hatties Clan Topper Kit:

This is perfect for beginners or if you are on a budget as these cards work out at just 19p each.

Perhaps you have made cards before and would like to make something a little bit more advanced or would like to try a new technique in your card making, then lets mix it up a little and try making a mixed media style card.

If you would like to make your own cards, or follow along with these tutorials you can find the JMC designs topper kits here: Designer paper Archives – JMC Designs Our Topper kits are on a special price for today only as we clebrate world card making day.

So Happy World card making day! Who are you going to send a card to?
